So here it is, the third Pat’s Acres Racing Complex drift day put on by Oregon Drift/TougeNW. The day started just like the first event kinda gray and dull got sunny and then ended with everyone getting there drifting fix. I had a blast hanging at the track with the local drift guys once again. The day consisted, for me, of seven hundred pictures, waking up way to early and getting pelted with giant dirt clods. It was an exciting day, got to meet some new people and make some new friends. Saw a crash and a control arm decide it didn’t want to control anymore… from the same car. I gotta thank my boy Marcus for hooking it up with a ride to the event. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

So here we go with the first ever drift event at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex. It’s a go kart course in Canby Oregon that decided to let us drifters onto the track for a day. A big thanks goes out to the TougeNW guys for setting this up and helping the NW (mostly Oregon) drift scene make its come back. An even bigger thanks goes out to Slayter the man behind the scenes and well in front of them as well. This event and all the other events by TougeNW have re-sparked what was once an awesome fire of fun, drifting, and good times that got all wet from the NW weather back to its original glory. These events are the way to show that yes, people in past screwed up and made everyone suffer but we are here to say that was then and this is now and were ready to party hardy… yet responsible.
